It’s an Honor to Serve on Your Council.

Re-Elect Denis DeLuca for Weston Lakes City Council

Current and Future Plans

My goals are and have always been to:

  • Maintain the quality of life we moved to Weston Lakes for

  • Not have city taxes (as my actions confirm)

  • Continue working on drainage improvements

  • Keep expenses under control and continue saving money

  • Small and nonintrusive city government

  • Keep our entrance safe (especially with the new school and increased traffic)

  • Improve communication, transparency, and unification of our city government

  • Get a better understanding and look for a solution to the power outage problem

  • Protect and preserve our community for future generations

Let’s work together to protect our lifestyle and preserve it for our children, grandchildren, and future generations.

Weston Lakes must continue its long-standing vision of financial stability. As a city, we receive the overwhelming majority of our funding from utilities franchise fees. This source of income is not guaranteed in perpetuity. Our City Council has worked tirelessly to maintain a low overhead and has remained focused on the aggressive savings of your money. Keeping our current City Council members (Case, DeLuca, & Thomas) in office keeps us going in the right direction. Your City Council has endeavored to be good stewards of your money. We currently have approximately $1,300,000.00 in reserve; this reserve could easily be depleted with a small handful of emergencies. Just because a city has money in reserve does not mean it should be spent. This City Council believes in being prepared for the future.

My fellow City Council members and I have faithfully attended and represented our community at countless county and state meetings over the last twelve years. These interactions with other entities beyond our gates are vital to the current and future well-being of Weston Lakes. Building respectful relationships in this manner has benefitted our community in many ways. As one of three councilmen representing our city, we are part of the Rails to Trails program along with other cities and counties. This incredible project will be an approximately 30-mile hike and bike trail running from Fulshear to Eagle Lake.

Our City must care for the needs of all citizens, from the youngest to the most experienced. Our children are our most precious gifts. As parents and grandparents, we have the awesome responsibility not only to prepare them for the world, but to leave to them a better world and community.

We all chose to live in Weston Lakes because it is a wonderful and unique place to live and raise a family. Please assist us (Case, DeLuca, & Thomas) in continuing this beautiful way of life.
